Youth Sports Membership Dues

Community Youth Sports Leagues are adopted by the FAA Board. Members benefit from the partnership between the City of Folsom, Folsom Cordova Unified School District, the FAA, other youth sports leagues, local and regional businesses, community members and volunteers. Benefits include priority access to facility scheduling, discounted or waived field and facility rental fees, direct communication with city and school district staff responsible for facility management and maintenance, and support for fundraising efforts.

For 2025, several groups requested the option to pay online or by check. We appreciate your patience as we worked to make this available. Please note that membership dues are now due.

Senior Holiday Gift Bag Program

We are thrilled to share the success of a holiday celebration at Vintage Willow Creek Apartments! 185 gift bags were decorated and filled with essential items and festive surprises for the senior residents. The event was brightened by a community gathering with live music and a performance by Vista High School cheerleaders.

A heartfelt thank you to Power House Ministries, Community Youth Sports Groups, and our Folsom friends and families for your generosity and support.

Veterans Day Parade 2024

.
The Folsom Athletic Association honors U.S. Army (retired) Artillery Forward Observer Danny O’Neel.

Danny signed up for the Army on 9/11 at the age of 19. He quickly became a squad leader, earning Sergeant stripes and the responsibility to lead men in battle – one of the greatest honors of his life. Danny served two tours in Iraq, losing nine brothers and 15 more in the aftermath.

Danny founded Warfighter Overwatch, whose mission is to support Veterans and First Responder communities through programs built to encourage camaraderie, resilience, and connectedness by harnessing the power of the environment to remind them of their strength, foundation, and ability to adapt and overcome.

Danny is a motivational speaker for the foundation. His mission to continue serving is not just inspirational; it’ll motivate you to get in the fight!

Folsom Athletic Association Project: Painting Sheds at Various Parks

Davies Park, Lembi Park, Nisenan Park, Dan Russell Rodeo, and Kuntz Field. In addition to the sheds, the group also painted a utility box, baseball field back stop, and bathroom doors!

We could not have gotten this done “without” our volunteers. THANK YOU to everyone who stepped it to help!!

Yes on Folsom Measure G

Friends & Supporters:

The Sacramento County Registrar of Voters provided an update on Measure G, and the outcome is clear: Folsom voters did not pass Measure G.

The Measure G team worked hard to collect more than 8,200 signatures on our petition to place the measure on the ballot. More than 250 individuals, community groups and companies contributed to the Yes on G campaign. Our committee and volunteers knocked on more than 8,950 doors, making contact with 5,000 voters in Folsom. Information about Measure G was mailed to 16,600 Folsom homes. And, more than 750 “Yes on G” signs were placed throughout our community.

While we are disappointed with the election results, we believe our campaign’s education efforts have helped more Folsom residents understand the challenges with the city’s finances and will better prepare them for future necessary budget cuts.

On behalf of the Yes on Measure G campaign, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the support we received from so many community members. We could not have done any of it without you.

Sincerely,

YES on G – Folsom Residents Supporting

Annual Fireworks Fundraiser

The fireworks fundraising program started 25 years ago to raise funds for the FAA and community youth sports leagues. This is the ultimate in fundraising and teamwork, where all of our partnering youth sports leagues pool their volunteer resources to work collaboratively in staffing the fireworks booths and, in return, share in the profits. ——————————————>
